Chapter 1: Half Blood PrincessIn the far lands of the demon realm lives a princess who caused a war in their peaceful kingdom. The Demon King is a kind and wise ruler; he has made great efforts to make their kingdom flourish and be a comfortable place to live in. He leads a fulfilling life as a great leader with his queen and his sweet little princess. A princess, despite being royalty, is shunned and discriminated against.Princess Nada Miko has no noticeable demon-like features, and this unconventional appearance has created a very difficult life for her. She has been trying her best to fit in, but her efforts have been in vain. Her parents have been very affectionate and supportive, but she couldn't muster the courage to confide in them about her deepest worries. But there is one thing that has kept her hopeful throughout the past 159 years of her life. She will ascend into her awakened state on her upcoming birthday, and everyone will have to accept her as a demon. After a long wait, the auspicious day has finally arrived, with a huge celebration and all the nobility invited. This is the day the princess has been looking forward to her whole life, but all hope is lost because nothing has changed; she is still the same as before.The Demon King, behind all his achievements, has kept one big secret. Nada Miko is his daughter from a mistress—a mistress who is not a demon. A few members of the nobility have always had this suspicion but couldn't prove anything as they could not find a trace of the princess' mother. However, on this supposed special day, most of the nobility are concerned about the Demon King raising a half-blood. Demons are a very proud species and cannot accept their bloodline being "dirtied" with another. It is one of the greatest taboos anyone can break in the demon realm, and the nobility were afraid that their own king had done it.The idea of lesser blood mixing with theirs did not sit well with the nobility. Even with the lack of proof, they did not want to risk the strange princess being part of their history. All the nobility schemed to overthrow the Demon King for his treacherous actions. A huge war ensued between the nobility and the royal family. The Demon King is forced to dethrone himself and is locked in the dungeon. The queen and her children will be living their new lifestyle as low-ranking nobles. And the innocent princess who acted as the catalyst of this war is banished from the kingdom that could never appreciate her.Chapter 2: The Birth of the New PrincessDevastated, the former princess wanders aimlessly from town to town, struggling on the harsh, lone journey. She has no one to support her or guide her; the only one she can rely on is herself. It has been nothing but tough, but even so, she keeps moving forward. She is on the move to another town as usual; the sun is setting, making the way for the night to fall. This cues Miko to stop and take some rest before resuming her travels. She sets up her camp, lies down, and gazes at the stars, when suddenly she notices a glint through her peripheral vision. She looks at the direction it is coming from and sees a beautiful glow. The light beckons Miko to approach it; unable to escape its charm, she thinks of basking in this light. Undeterred by the dangers of venturing into the thick jungle in the shade of the moonless night, she slowly walks towards the source of the glow.Footsteps after footsteps, she gets closer to the source. Lying on the ground is a tiara; Miko picks it up and wears it on top of her head reflexively. Having a tiara on gets her humming a song and lightly dancing while she reminisces about her happy days as a princess. During all this, something strange is happening... Her eyes start to glow red, a new set of long ears are growing on her head, and there is an ominous crack forming in the thin air behind her. Unbeknownst to her, in this short moment of joy, her life is about to take an unexpected turn.The cracked space behind Miko sucks her in, then spews her out into an unknown land.
She had appeared before a large audience of bunny people. Miko was in a state of confusion, but she remained calm. She pays attention to what the bunnies are shouting in excitement, but it's futile; she can't understand their language. That's what she thought, but as the minutes passed by, she was able to understand every single word.
